This project was born as Dr. Jaime was recovering from an unexpected and debilitating neurological infirmity that left him unable to work in his holistic medicine practice for an extended period. During this time, he noticed that no matter how challenging things were, he felt an encouraging sense of hope every morning when he would enjoy a single pour-over coffee with his wife, Donna. Just that short respite, relaxing in a moment of stillness, enjoying roasts that came from tiny farms in places like Colombia, Kenya, Guatemala, and Ethiopia, was a quantum link to a future in which good health was possible to attain again.

After an incredible recovery and a return to full-time practice in holistic healthcare, Dr. Jaime felt a renewed surge of creative energy that he now brings to you through Water Over Thunder. This coffee is sourced and roasted intentionally, to bring you that same experience of heart-opening to the limitless possibilities in your future.
